Selecting Multiple Words Together
Hold down the Ctrl key (or Command key on Mac).
Use the mouse to draw a frame around the desired words.
Release the keys.
Then, drag the selection into the desired field — and the full sentence will be copied as one unit.
This is useful when you need to move full text, such as a description or address, without breaking it into individual words.
How to Create a Frame Around Multiple Words
One of the most powerful features in DOKKA is the ability to pull information directly from the document.
This helps the system learn where the correct data is located and use it to fill in fields in future invoices.
If you'd like to copy a full sentence or several words into a field, you can do so by drawing a frame around the relevant words.
Here's how:
Place your mouse in front of the first word (make sure DOKKA hasn't auto-identified it).
Press and hold Ctrl on your keyboard (or Command on Mac).
While holding Ctrl, click and drag with your mouse to draw a frame around the words you want to select.
You’ll see each word get a blue box, and DOKKA will show an additional box around the entire group.
Release both the mouse and the Ctrl key.
Tip: This works just like selecting multiple files on your computer.
What to Do With the Selected Frame
Once the frame is created, drag it into the relevant field — and all the text inside will be copied as a single sentence.
