History button

The History button in DOKKA provides full visibility into every action taken within your account. It’s a powerful tool that allows users to track activity, monitor changes, and maintain complete transparency over document management.

Viewing History Inside a Document

When accessed from within an invoice or document, the History button displays all actions performed on that specific file, including:

  • When the document was uploaded.

  • Who published it to the ERP system and when.

  • Any manual edits made to the publishing fields.

This view helps you understand the full lifecycle of a document — from upload to publication — and who was involved at each step.

Viewing History from the Company Homepage

When opened from the company homepage, the History button provides an overview of all activity within your DOKKA environment, such as:

  • Who uploaded a document and when.

  • Actions taken on documents (e.g., deleted, renamed, or tagged).

  • Added or edited sticky notes.

  • When the document was split, merged, or linked to other documents.

Every action performed by any user is automatically recorded in the History — ensuring full traceability across your organization.

Navigating from History to Documents

When viewing History from the homepage, you can click on any activity to open the related document.
Once selected, click Open to access the document directly and review its contents.

Filtering History

To make it easier to find a specific event, the History view on the homepage can be filtered by date, user or event type.

This helps you quickly locate actions that occurred at a particular time or relate to a specific task.

The History feature ensures accountability and transparency across your workspace — every upload, edit, or publication is logged, so you always know what happened, when, and by whom.
