Split, Merge, or Reorder Multi-Page Documents
DOKKA makes it easy to manage documents with multiple pages. you can split one document into several, merge multiple documents into one, or reorder pages inside a document — all in just a few clicks.
Use the Edit Document option to split or reorder, and the Merge button to combine files.
Multi-Page Documents in DOKKA
Documents with multiple pages are marked with a folded corner icon.
How to Split a Multi-Page Document
1. Click the three dots on the document.
2. Choose Edit Document.
3. In the edit screen:
Use “Split All” to split every page.
Or click the scissors icon between specific pages.
Click Save.
How to Merge Multiple Documents Into One
Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and select the documents.
A bulk action bar appears at the bottom.
Click the Merge button.
Confirm the action.
How to Change the Order of Pages
Click the three dots on the document.
Select Edit Document.
Drag and drop pages to reorder.
Click Save.
⚠ Notes and Limitations
You cannot split documents that have already been published or have an active approval flow.
To proceed, remove the approval flow first, or duplicate the document and work on the copy.
Merging documents or reordering pages will create a brand new document in DOKKA.
This means that any sticky notes or attached emails from the original documents will not be preserved.
